1. Introduction

This Returns, Cancellation, and Refund Policy explains the rules applicable to course registrations, counselling payments, admission payments, training fees, installment payments, and related service charges paid to Comtech Network.

Because Comtech Network provides training and educational services rather than physical goods, the concept of returns does not apply in the same manner as product purchases. This policy therefore focuses mainly on cancellations, reversals, adjustments, and refunds where applicable.

2. General Principle

All fees paid to Comtech Network are tied to batch planning, course scheduling, counselling effort, academic resource allocation, and administrative processing. Once a seat is reserved or a student is onboarded, institute resources may already be committed.

Refund decisions may therefore depend on the nature of the payment, the timing of the request, whether classes or access have started, whether materials have been shared, and whether a batch seat was specifically reserved.

3. Non-Returnable Nature of Educational Services

Educational and training services are generally non-returnable in nature. There is no return of already delivered counselling, course access, live sessions, recordings, materials, onboarding, or completed support services.

4. Registration and Booking Amounts

Any registration, application, counselling, booking, admission-processing, or seat-blocking amount may be treated as non-refundable unless Comtech Network expressly confirms otherwise in writing at the time of payment.

5. Cancellation Before Batch Start

If a student requests cancellation before the official batch start date, Comtech Network may review the request on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the circumstances, the institute may approve a partial refund, transfer the amount to another batch or course, deduct administrative or gateway charges, or decline the refund if the payment was clearly identified as non-refundable.

6. Cancellation After Batch Start

If cancellation is requested after the batch has started, refund eligibility may be limited or unavailable, especially if live sessions, recordings, materials, onboarding, or student access have already been provided. In such cases, Comtech Network may deny refund, offer a partial adjustment, or consider transfer or deferral instead of refund.

7. Demo Sessions

Free demos, where offered, are intended to help a student evaluate the course before payment. Once a student chooses to enroll after reviewing the available information, subsequent refund decisions are governed by this policy.

8. Installment Payments

Where installment options are provided, each installment must be paid on time. Access to sessions or support may be restricted if installments are overdue. Previously paid amounts do not automatically become refundable merely because future installments remain unpaid.

9. Transfer, Deferral, or Adjustment

In certain cases, instead of a refund, Comtech Network may offer batch transfer, temporary deferral, or internal fee adjustment toward another suitable course, subject to availability, suitability, fee difference, timing, and management approval.

10. Institute-Initiated Cancellation

If Comtech Network cancels a batch or program and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, the institute may offer a full refund of the affected amount, transfer to another batch, or credit toward a suitable course. This may not apply where an equivalent alternative is made available or where disruption arises from force majeure circumstances.

11. Duplicate or Excess Payments

If you accidentally make a duplicate payment or pay an excess amount, please contact us with proof of payment. After verification, eligible excess amounts may be reversed or refunded within a reasonable processing period.

12. Failed Transactions

If your bank account is debited but the transaction is not properly recorded by Comtech Network, you should contact us with transaction details. Resolution may depend on payment gateway, bank, or UPI confirmation.

13. Refund Request Process

To request cancellation or refund review, the student should contact Comtech Network through official channels and provide full name, registered phone number, course name, date of payment, amount paid, proof of payment, and the reason for the request. Submission of a request does not mean that the refund stands automatically approved.

14. Refund Timelines

If a refund is approved, Comtech Network will aim to process it within a reasonable timeframe. Actual credit timelines may depend on banking systems, payment gateway processing, UPI networks, internal verification, and third-party settlement timelines.

15. Possible Deductions

Approved refunds may be subject to deductions such as administrative charges, counselling charges, registration charges, payment gateway charges, taxes where not reversible, and charges for already consumed services or provided access.

16. No Automatic Refund Guarantee

Refunds are not guaranteed merely because a student changes their mind, cannot continue, fails to attend classes, is dissatisfied without using available support channels, or expected a job outcome without meeting learning or hiring requirements.

17. Placement Assistance Disclaimer

Placement assistance, resume guidance, and interview support are support services only. Refund claims cannot be based solely on the inability to secure employment, since final outcomes depend on multiple student-specific and market-specific factors beyond Comtech Network’s control.

18. Misconduct and Disciplinary Removal

If access is restricted or terminated due to misconduct, abusive behavior, fraud, impersonation, policy breach, or misuse of institute systems, Comtech Network may deny refund, subject to applicable law.

19. Force Majeure

Refund, rescheduling, or continuation decisions may be affected by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including technical outages, trainer unavailability, government restrictions, public emergencies, natural disasters, or other force majeure events.

21. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to override any rights that may be available to consumers under applicable Indian law. Comtech Network aims to review genuine concerns fairly and reasonably while balancing academic planning, allocated resources, operational commitments, and service delivery costs.

Important Note: This is a website-ready policy draft and should be aligned with your actual operational refund practice before final publication. If your institute follows fixed deductions, fixed timelines, special scholarship rules, or guaranteed transfer rules, those details should be added clearly.
